“ALL GIRLS ALL VINYL” DANCE PARTY CELEBRATES ONE YEAR AT NO VACANCY

LOS ANGELES — For the past year, two of LA’s fast rising DJ’s have endeavored to present a slice of nightlife that you wouldn’t usually expect from a night out in Los Angeles.

Every Thursday night at the buzz-worthy, off-Hollywood bar No Vacancy, resident DJ’s Victoria Rawlins and Nina Tarr throw their weekly record-listening party — the aptly named All Girls All Vinyl. It’s exactly what it sounds like: girl DJ’s digging through crates of vinyl and spinning some of the best records in rock n roll, soul, funk, punk, disco, 90’s hip hop, glam rock and new wave. Known in some circles as simply “The Girls”, Victoria and Nina source their carefully curated selections from all genres and all decades as they seamlessly bridge the gap between deep dance floor fillers and singalong anthems.

Their sets fit perfectly with the ambiance of the venue, a Victorian-era brothel converted into an old-Hollywood inspired cocktail hangout by Mark and Johnnie Houston — another pair bent on redefining the common view of a night out in Los Angeles. This Thursday, All Girls All Vinyl celebrates its first year of rocking out with vinyl giveaways, mix tapes and of course dancing to some of the best records on Earth. #novacancy #novacancyla #allgirlsallvinyl @pizzaparty69 @rawvictoria
