About the Group

Born and bred in Los Angeles, fraternal twins Mark and Jonnie Houston have cornered a niche market of high-end, nightlife hot spots. The duo launched Piano Bar in 2008—followed in short order by La Descarga, Harvard & Stone, Pour Vous, No Vacancy, Dirty Laundry, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s, their first restaurant Butchers and Barbers and an 80's oasis, Break Room 86 at The Line Hotel. Each establishment is a transportation of space and time, all engineering a unique experience. The Houstons will continue this legacy with a string of upcoming projects where they will continue to redefine the hospitality landscape in Los Angeles and beyond.

The menu includes all sorts of meat-centric dishes and charcuterie, including a 34-ounce cote du boeuf. The plate of 28-day dry-aged beef goes for $90 and […]

Leave it to Jonnie and Mark Houston (Houston Hospitality) to constantly up the bar and nightlife scene with every new venue they open. I mean, wow, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s. Next Tuesday, however, the brothers aren’t adding yet another drink spot to their growing repertoire of themed delights but rather an old bowery-style New […]

Like most Houston brothers productions (No Vacancy is behind it, Dirty Laundry is more or less below it), this is an old-timey spot that looks like it’s always been here. Only this time, the lightbulbs are on meat hooks, ancient straight razors are framed art, and butcher scales hang over the bar.
